Happy New Year! Welcome to 2017!

My goal for this year is to post ever single day, this is strictly a personal challenge and something I really miss doing.  It's been years and I'm not even sure why I stopped.

We had a great New Year's Eve.  We were invited to a friends house and Isadora was so excited that there was a kitty there.  But there was also a fire and lots of room to run around outside.  It is still very warm here so it wasn't even really chilly.  But the fire was nice.

I'm excited to start this new year with this girly.  We are in a much different place than we were one year ago and Isadora's treatment has been very successful.  I am excited to see what adventures are coming our way.  No doubt with her it will be pretty exciting.

Isadora already has some exciting things going on too!  More about that later once things are planned out a little more.

2017 -  I release all things form the past year that have caused any negative attachment. I prepare and welcome new changes, new lessons and new adventures. I welcome new opportunities  to grow emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Craft Us Crazy Challenge #31

It is time again!  This is the time of year when we all think about what we are thankful for! The theme for this challenge is just that  GIVE THANKS/THANK YOU and/or INSPIRE US!  If you use Inspire us don't for get to share who or what inspires you.

I decided to do Thank You and used a wonderful set from The Cutting Cafe, who is also our sponsor this week. I can't say this enough, if you have not been to The Cutting Cafe you must visit! There is very wide variety of very creative and beautiful digi stamps!  The winner of this challenge will also receive three sets of their choice! This is an amazing prize!

The set I used is called With Graduated and you can see the complete set here.  I love these little Thank you cards and wouldn't this make a perfect gift for someone?

Craft Us Crazy Challenge #30

The theme for this challenge is use your FAVORITE COLOR and/or HOLIDAY THEME!  With the holidays getting closer and closer I have started working on Christmas items. I have so many projects planned this year I was excited that this challenge would really get the ball rolling for me!

Please visit the CRAFT US CRAZY blog to enter this challenge.  You will also find all the amazing creations form the DT there!  Below are the amazing sponsors we have for this challenge.

Prize details -- $10.00 Gift Certificate

Ok now for my creation! This was actually a very simple project or so I thought.  Once I started working on it there were just so many options it became over complicated for me.  I wanted to make a Christmas/Winter banner but not the traditional mantel banner.  So here is what I came up with it. I hope you like it.

I used the Cricut to cut the shapes and used the Bo Bunny Blitzen paper for this project.  The rosettes are all from the Tim Holtz die and the beautiful angel in the center is from Saturated Canary!

Craft Us Crazy Challenge #29

I can't believe my baby is turning FOUR years old in a couple weeks! Where does the time go?  We are in full party prep mode around here and this week I have been working on favors.  The theme of her birthday party for this year is ICE CREAM! Yes, I know...what 4 year old doesn't love ice cream.  So I search the internet for ice cream party favors and you would be surprised how many amazing ideas there are.  I settled on these adorable little ice cream cups with matching spoons.  I also found some cute ice cream shaped candy to go inside them.

Originally I thought it would be cute to personalize each one with name of the child that would receive it. But that proved to be a challenge for more than one reason.  So instead I wrapped them up in fun polkadot paper and made a tag with Isadora's name on it for each one.

When all was said and done here is what we have! A cute fun party favor that I think the kids are going to love.  Now let's PARTY!
