I love trying to find new things to alter. You might remember my BabyGap gift bag. Anything that I would throw in the trash or even recycle I try to think of things I could make out of them. That is exactly what I did with the mountain of formula cans I had when Isadora was still drinking formula. So I started this a long time ago, worked on it a little, put it aside because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I was recently in a swap and needed to alter something so I pulled this bank out and made a bank! But not just any bank....a scrap fund bank! XDI used country blue acrylic paint on the lid and used a little crackle paint (for the first time) on top of the blue. I need to practice for real with the crackle paint but for the most part I think it came out cool. I hope the person I am sending it to will like too.
