Birthday Book

I have something really fun to share!  First, this is the second year that I have done a crafty birthday club. It is such a fun swap and who doesn't love getting goodies for their birthday?  The way the club works is pretty simple. You have 12 people and each one has a birthday month. The other 11 make a hand-made gift each month for the "birthday" person.  Simple right? So....here is my project for September. This was one of the items on the her hand-made wish list and I was excited to give it a try.   I cut the cover from heavy chipboard and covered it with some pretty paper and made pockets on the inside.  The inner pages are just 12 x 12 card stock that scored at 4 folded up to make a pocket and then scored at 6 and folded in half. Super easy! When I used the bind it all I stuck the folded pages open side in.  The SUPER cute calendar I found online and just printed out. I wanted her to be able to change the calendar out each year so I cut photo corners and stuck the calendar in. So that is it! I love this and I think I am going to make for myself!
